Heather graduated with Distinction from the University of Calgary in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology.  She is also an accredited Medical Exercise Specialist and holds her level 2 theory in coaching from the National Coaching Certification Program.  Heather is Co-owner of Flip Fitness Inc. and a mother of 2 fun and active children. 

She is extremely passionate about health and wellness and believes healthy living should be fun, rewarding and habitual. Heather is confident that with a little support and coaching, anyone can make changes in their life that are sustainable and that lead to realizing greater potential. She believes that working out should be challenging, innovative, progressive and gratifying!

Heather specializes in a number of areas including: athletic performance enhancement, post-rehab, special populations (older adult), pre/post-natal, and body composition management.  Her unique experience and training allow her to work with clients who have had or are currently struggling with chronic or acute injuries.  Heather has helped clientele with backgrounds ranging from ballroom dance and figure skating to hockey and soccer, some of who went on to win national championships!  She particularly enjoys working with athletes because of her own high level of involvement in a variety of sports.  Her background includes 13 years of competitive figure skating and 17 years of hockey. She currently enjoys competing at a national level with the Calgary Synchronized Skating Club, as well as skiing, horseback riding, downhill mountain biking, climbing and adventure travel.  She is convinced that life is to be lived to the fullest and we need to have strong, healthy and happy bodies to do so! Contact Heather

Gary is Co-owner of Flip Fitness Inc. Gary has been working out and competing in a number of sports from the age of 13 - from super G, downhill, and free skiing to kick boxing and downhill mountain biking. He currently competes in dirtbike racing. He has learned from an early age that working hard and training consistently is the key to success in any sport. Gary has worked with athletes in sports ranging from soccer, hockey, lacrosse, squash, badminton and many combative sports. Gary is certified with his ALFCA, Medical Exercise Specialist and CanFit Pro certifications. He specializes in sports specific strength training and conditioning, post rehabilitation, and weight control for both men and women.  Gary is passionate about life in every respect and his enthusiasm and energy are contagious to everyone he works with.  

Gary also has extensive experience working with older adult populations.  His clients have seen significant improvements in their abilities to continue to perform their activities of daily living.  Young or old, Gary believes that exercising correctly will change your life.  Contact Gary
